Intent: Basically my intent was to just learn the basics of utilizing a brush and digital painting in general! In this portrait I wanted to play around with the colors and see if I could actually paint.
What I learned: I learned how to add different textures based on different brushes and their size and opacity. It's a little tricky to get a method down for switching size and opacity but I think I got a handle on it after awhile.
Hopefully once I gain more skill as an artist I can refine the work and make it look a little bit more textured!
