I won't lie. I got lost in my own painting. At one point, I seriously asked myself what in the world I was making. There were so many ways I could have taken it. Here is the bizarre painting. I'm still going to change some thing like the platform on the right.

I thought I had lost this in my frustration with project 3. I deleted it off of my flash drive in frustration. I knew I had saved it twice but I didn't know where. It was on the Raiden computer in the lab which I haven't been on since the start of project 4. Sorry it took me a while to find it.

This is how I originally planned the image.

Ok. This was difficult because the image CANNOT be flattened at all. Finally, I worked around this problem by taking a snapshot of the desktop in mac.

Inspiration

For my 3 artists, I kind of have a conglomerate of artists. It was hard to decide between 3 Traditional Artists of Duchamp, Paul Klee, and Natalia Goncharova. I love the color and the degree of abstract and spontaneity they have. Here is a painting of Natalia:

For my Digital Artist, I have loved Ryan Bliss since I was a kid. He sits at, makes six figures, and does nothing but digitally paint. My favorite has always been his starscapes and otherworldly pictures. This is his latest work:

My last inspiration is an architect. Ironically enough, I found out that he once attended A&M for a while back in '67. He is responsible for the design of the current tallest build in the world, the Burj Khalifa:

Wooo the Ellers Building!

This is an example of a levels adjustment. The lower, darker one, has a levels adjustment on it. It, along with a curves adjustment, is used to bring out the light tones and dark tones in the image. In this case, it made my dark areas darker.

My intentions with this photo were honestly to have fun and continue to learn and utilize photoshop to its maximum capacity. I still need to add a background of sorts. It will most likely be abstract. Hair was definitely the biggest problem. However, I also need lots of work on skin tones and blending them. It needs some major touching up. I learned that if I am working from a photo I cannot go from "dark to light" or vice versa. It bothers me attempting to work that way so I end up starting in the middle and then using a continual cycle of adding lighter and darker colors and blending them.
